I’m humbled and honored to be able to share this collection of music from our live concerts in 2024/25 that represent some of my original “bass-based” compositions that span my lifetime, some going way back to the early 1980s performed w/various groups over the decades and some composed over the last couple of years for the current quartet on this CD. I’m forever grateful to friends, family, and all those who have supported and encouraged the music; the welcoming and gracious hosts and enthusiastic attendees of the concerts in these very beautiful and hip venues; the seriously top tier engineers (who I’m so lucky to have as friends) who generously contributed their time, talents, expertise, and passions; and last but not least to this stellar cast of longtime friends/veteran musicians, who lovingly bring fresh perspective, lots of virtuosic improvisational interplay and “seat of the pants” free exploration, all fusing together to manifest a very dynamic, colorful, funky, and fun global fusion musical expedition.
